Through the Choctaw Code Talkers Association (CCTA), we are working to replicate a commemorative statue, expand educational resources for future generations, and host our second annual music festival fundraiser honoring the Code Talkers’ legacy. Together, these efforts serve as a lasting tribute to their service and ensure their stories continue to be taught, remembered, and bridge the gap of historical reflection to the modern day of these brave hero's once silenced, now carry on for generations. The Choctaw Code Talkers Association is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, operated entirely by volunteers, and governed by a volunteer executive board, with all donations directly supporting its mission. “Honoring the Legacy of Our Shared Heritage. This Is Not Just Native History; It Is American History, uniting us all.” |

The Code Talkers were Native "by birth" and American soldiers "by adoption" who used their native languages to develop a secret code, which was never deciphered by the enemy. This code played a crucial role in many battles during WWI and beyond. Their bravery and ingenuity saved countless lives and helped to turn the tide of the war.
