This 2nd annual event is more than a festival; it is a living tribute, a cultural bridge, and a fundraising effort dedicated to honoring history while investing in the future.
This year’s programming also supports ongoing efforts led by the Choctaw Code Talkers Association (CCTA),
ensuring their legacy continues to be preserved through monuments, statues, and educational materials.
The Red Clay Roots Festival is a multi-genre cultural experience featuring:
Film presentations honoring historical legacy and storytelling
Live comedy performances from top Oklahoma talent
Music and cultural performances
Community storytelling and creative expression across generations
The festival takes place over two major dates:
August 21–22 – Main festival experience
August 27 – Encore performance event
Tickets are available now for $15, making this an accessible opportunity for families, students, and community members to engage in a meaningful cultural experience.
All events will be held at the OCCC Visual and Performing Arts Center, a central venue known for hosting performing arts, cultural showcases, and educational programming.
